Art 21

I don’t know most of the artists in the art 21. The artists in the art 21, they tried to use different material to make art works. They also expressed different ideas of creating art works in the 21 century. The arts works are in different sizes.  

The Korean artist Do Ho Suh used lots of the tiny human models to create art works. He showed the power of united, and the visitors can step in the art works. Most of all the art works in the exhibits that the visitors are not allow touching the art works, but his art works can allow visitors to touch. I also love the art works that Cai Guoqiang. He is amazing that to use the gun power to create his art works. He uses the explosion power of the gunpowder and colors to create art works. I don’t know about him even though he was the one who created the fireworks of the 2008 Olympic Games. 

I want to be ordinary project

I use the ordinary bag to make a puppet. It is so cute, and I spent almost two hours to do it. I love it.

Reflection of the AIC II

I loved this field trip to the AIC because it is more interesting than the first time we went there.   I could different art work from different cultures. I have not seen any of the Chinese Antique since yesterday.

I loved the installation in the basement. It was so pretty and the way how they arranged it. It was so relaxing when I imagine that I was my house. In the western installations, most of the installations have a fire places and with different of styles. They also use different objects to represent different cultures.

My favorite and exciting park is the presentations because it keeps my heart beating faster. I like the different cultural art works. I could know about the different cultures, and live styles. They used different materials.  Those art works are the most valuable things I have even seen. Thanks all the teachers that participated in the presentation. I learned something from them. At first, I forget how to analyze the paintings. I am thanks for my partners to explain about the horizon balance and vertical balance. 

Self-evaluate of the Renaissance Society Museum

                 This is my first time to the Renaissance Society Museum, and I am so exiting. I wonder how the Renaissance Society Museum looks like. I think it is just like the Art Institute of Chicago with lots of paintings.

                Aby and I live closed and the Number 44 but is convenient to us. Moaz and Sehoon go together, and then we meet in the Museum. We ask several people before we find the building of the Renaissance Society. When we enter the building, we try to find the Museum. We can’t find it, even though we ask so people inside the building. They don’t know where that place is. We call the museum for help. 

                When we go in the museum, we think we are in the wrong place. Where is the painting? Where is the visitor? We are totally shock. Sehoon and Moaz want to choice another museum. They said “this is not a museum.” There are some letters, animal traps, lived flowers and a ten year old girl’s hair.

                The employee is nice, and she gives much information to us about that exhibit. She is so nerves while we interview her. There are two men in the museum are busy park the musical devises, and refuse our interview.

                The artist plans this exhibit in his own way, everything in that exhibit is he decides. It is so different from other museum.
